First of all, I possibly bought one of the most awesome cookbooks:
Made in association with The Vegan Society, this British food themed book is full of easy, delicious looking meals. I want to eat everything in it (sans beet soup. gross. sorry).
So stay tuned for recipes and pictures from it in the days to come.
I am trying to aim to update this everyday or every-other-day.
And now:
DELICIOUS FOOD THE REST OF THE WORLD IS MISSING OUT ON
Homemade phyllo parcel filled with mushrooms, leeks, chestnuts, onions, etc. Roasted potatoes, Brussels sprouts, carrots, parsnips, peas.
Mixed mushroom and ale pie with minty mushy peas an chunky chips. Ginger tofu cheesecake with rhubarb compote. From Mildred's in London. (Go there, all veg, tons of vegan options).
Real Scottish Breakfast. Vegetarian haggis, potato triangles, baked beans & toast, fried mushrooms and baked tomato.
Vegetable curry baked potato with vegetarian haggis samosa.
Plus lots of other homemade stuff. It's all awesome. Go eat it.

What goes into vegetarian haggis?
Looks delicious!
I was in London on the begining of last December.. I we were going to see one really good gig(Boris,Sunn O)))+Earth) with my friend and also there was really good options to choose for vegan what to eat.
I really falled in love with london, your hostel was sraight in central:Piccadilly circus, and in this Soho area there were so many,so good vegan/vegetarian restaurants(and some healthfood -stores selling some awesome sweeties!!) to choose. We visited in one of those chinese, vegan all-you-can-eat buffet`s and I LOVED IT!!
Also there were so many good japanese-food places, and because we are both into japanese food we visited in that Wagamama-restaurant about 2 times and I can just say that att in there I got some best, japanese(fast) food I have ever got. We also popped in one of those little sushi-bars. It was one small, little obscure place near your hostel.. But those sushies were something heavenly! We eat both too much ;) I love london, and want to go there again as soon I can!
You're right! The UK has some many veggie options and they're always listed too!
My boyfriend and I went to Wagamama too! To see if it was as good as the real thing. He hated his ramen, but my fried veggie curry was nice, even if it wasn't the real thing!
